Pesca Muerta Ambassadors embody our values and represent the essence of what our brand is all about.  They’re humanitarians, artists, field-testers, pioneers and extraordinary visionaries on and off the water.

Eric Adams is a professional fly fishing guide based in Montana's Paradise Valley, and is the owner/operator of Montana Fly Fishing Guides, one of the area's most successful outfitting operations.  Adams has been chasing trout all over the world for as long as he can remember, and his passion for fishing led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in Environmental Biology and a Master’s degree in Ecology.  This background allows him to convey a unique perspective while guiding, ensuring a day on the water is an educational experience in terms of fishing and the surrounding ecological landscape.  Most importantly, though, Eric has mastered all of the techniques that put a bend in the rod.  This lifelong journey eventually led Eric to the Mecca of trout fishing in Livingston, Montana.  When not fishing or guiding, Eric enjoys skiing, hunting and golfing.

Jay Talbot is an accomplished artist and angler hailing from the South Carolina Lowcountry, and is the owner of Jaybo Art. An Art Studio graduate from the University of South Carolina, Jay did a short stint in the mortgage business in Columbia, SC before he decided to go full-time as an artist, and we’re glad he did! Jay's art career focuses mainly on private commissions, but he has done some apparel design, including the exclusive artwork for our very own Artist Series of sun shirts and accessories. Jay is also a commissioned dog portrait artist and has donated works to various conservationist charities in and around South Carolina. When not working hard in his Charleston, SC home studio, Jay likes to spend his days on the water chasing redfish on the fly and listening to the Grateful Dead.

Justin Powell is one of Pesca Muerta’s most diehard fly fishing fanatics.  He was first introduced to the sport while visiting Alaska as a 17-year-old with his mother and sister, and he’s been obsessed ever since.  Justin is a Fishing Manager with The Orvis Company in Atlanta, GA.  When he’s not working, or playing music with his band Simplified, the multi-talented Justin can almost certainly be found chasing fish with a fly rod in hand.  Whether it’s stalking monster brown trout in North Georgia, native brook trout in the Appalachian Mountains, adventuring after steelhead on the west coast, or bonefish in Belize, fly fishing is a passion he enjoys sharing with others.  Justin is also an avid kayak angler and enjoys kayak fishing “the Hooch,” chucking streamers in search of that elusive trophy brown.  Justin shares his love of fly fishing and water with his wife Becca, son Skyler, daughter Jordyn, and his brother Sky.
